When the bows at Lee's Ferry are keyed in on Cicadas and other big terrestrials, the big dry fly bite has everyone smiling! This one hammered a #8 Army ant tied by our boys over @theflystop #leesferryonthefly #arizonatrout #azflyfishing ... See MoreSee Less

This rainbow either escaped the bill of a Blue Heron or the talons of an Osprey... What do you think it was?

The new flows for May are great for fishing! Long slow rise of the water and great midge hatches made the fishing better this week than last week. The one in the bottom right escaped from a blue heron with a battle scar. #leesferryonthefly #flyfishing ... See MoreSee Less

We offer guided fishing trips at Lees Ferry on the Colorado river in Northern Arizona, both fly fishing and spin fishing. We enjoy fishing with anglers of all skill levels. Come experience this amazing year round fishery, with gin clear water and amazing Navajo sandstone cliffs you’ll see why our guests keep coming back. Guides Dave Foster and Dave Trimble have logged countless guide days on the river since the 1980’s and are sure to show you a great day on the water.

Our private guided fishing charters include a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain as your guide, our 22′ Koffler jet boat, fuel, lunch, fly rods and at least 8 hours on the water typically starting at 7 am.

You can rent waders and purchase a fishing license when you get here the night before your trip.

While the cost of flies is not included the Marble Canyon Lodge has a great selection of current local patterns and top producers. Our guides also carry a huge selection of their favorite patterns and you only pay $2 each for flies that you loose or are destroyed during your outing.
If you want more info on kayaking, canoeing or riding a SUP on the river click here for details on our shuttle service and rental info.
